And the Flag Was Still There

On the Moon, that is.

I wonder if the Armstrong/Aldrin flag fell over because it was planted too close to the LEM? When the LEM takes off, the flag is rocked mightily by the rocket blast, possibly weakening its setting. You can see it at 5:31 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNm1LVJTJ2k. Still, was there ever a greater single moment in space exploration?

The great tragedy is that the first landing on the moon has not yet been surpassed.
