There’s an old recording (1970s vintage) of this by Hari Om Sharan that’s my favourite. Surprisingly, I haven’t been able to find it online anywhere.

You link is a newer version, and not especially good. The one I have is mind is a solo rendition by H O S set to the same tune but sung in a rich baritone.

By the way, the tune below was composed by Vishnu Digambar Paluskar and used later by his pupil Shankarrao Vyas in the movie BHARAT MILAP (1942).

Amazon.com has some 400 H O S recordings, it would seem, but not this one!
AFAIK Apple also doesn't have it.

Yes. His classic bhajans from that era are available now. Like “Ramji karenge beda par,” “Toote na preet tihari,” “Shree Radhe Govinda “ and so on.
