Stalled

Shot at 1/5000 sec, so these look as though their engines have stalled.

This fellow was really far away. The full frame is mostly sky, this is a heavy crop. Put here only as a memento.

No, what you see there is all there is. You can see the pilot's helmet.

Thank you for the kind words! The lens (400 mm f/5.6) deserves a lot of praise. The photographer however should have made sure the propellers weren't frozen by using a slower shutter speed.
