  2. Wow, what a great set of photos! Very crisp, very summery indeed. And it certainly looks like you've mastered the art of magnifying!

Summer at my lake house is about the only time that I'm ever in contact with dragonflies. And even though I'm perfectly aware that dragonflies don't bite, it's still a bit unnerving to be dive-bombed by a gang of them while trying to chill out on the floating dock!

  3. Hi Cynthia,

Lake house? Life must be treating you well!

I actually went to this lake looking for birds; but found only dragonflies.

    :)

  4. oops -- I failed to put the word "parent's" after the word "my." So please don't think that I'm among the well-to-do! If I were, I instead would be hanging out at right-wing sites posting about what a great prez Bush has been and how his tax cuts for the rich have been a boon to the economy!;^)

And look at it this way: dragonflies could easily pass for birds.:^)

  5. :) Evidently you haven't looked at a bird lately :).

Parents' lake house is even better for you - all the fun, none of the responsibility :)

I don't think the well-to-do hang out at blogs, defending Bush. I think such are all folks taking breaks between their series of get-rich-quick schemes whose failure they attribute to liberals and Democrats.

  6. Good points, Arun! And the foot soldiers of the Right can't seem to get it in their heads that the second law applies to economics just as much as it does to the universe.
